Kay Hankins: 8-time Cow Chip Chuckin' Champion, and 10-time winner of "The World Throw" in Beaver, Okalahoma!Terry Wallschlaeger: I drove all the way to Beaver and threw 102 feet-far enough for only 3rd place. There were 14 girls there and Dana Martin of Oklahoma, got 2nd place with a throw of 114 feet. Terri of Nebraska won 1st place with a throw of 122 feet. The throw is done differently in Beaver, Oklahoma. There is a 'THROW OFF" and everyone picks their chips all at once. I DIDN'T KNOW THIS AND ARRIVED ABOUT 10 MINUTES BEFORE THE THROW. There weren't many chips to choose from by then. I had a wonderful time in Beaver, Oklahoma with my 2 daughters and plan on flying there next year if I place in Wisconsin State Cow Chip Throw in 2005!
